doggone-cold.jpgI am a Minnesotan born and raised and typically don’t have much of a problem with the cold. Generally, I like it. Tuesday was different. We had a near record temperature drop of 49 degrees over the course of the day. When we left in the morning, it was around 5 degrees above zero with strong winds. The warmer weather earlier in the week had started melting snow which was now glaze ice on the sidewalks. We hit Lake Harriet on the south side with 30+ MPH winds hitting us in the face. We started running to get to the leeward side of the lake and get out of the arctic blast. 8 dogs enjoyed the invigorating adventure

frosty-caddy.jpgThe high on Wednesday was 8 below zero so we passed on walking but were back at it today. We left with temperatures just above zero with bright sunshine and limited winds, in short, much better conditions. We had another nice group out enjoying the conditions. Here is a quick photo of Caddie the ever vigilant Australian Shepard.
