Old friends from the neighborhood

Once again, we had a warm day. The group started early and there was a full crew.

I had a brief conversation with two people who looked vaguely familiar just after we passed the band shell at Lake Harriet. One question lead to another and we pieced together that we were neighbors over thirty years ago. We talked about some old times and how my sister and brother had helped teach Ann to ice skate on single blades. It was amazing how even talking about ice made the day seem cooler.

A young gentleman, Tristan (sp), stopped by with his care provider to greet all of the dogs during our stop for coffee. He was curious about all of the dogs names ages and breeds and was endlessly amused by the dogs. Kids and dogs are a remarkable combination.

32 dog miles today. 90 since tracking began
